Shamanic Dreamwork™ Workshop

In this unique experiential workshop, participants explore the nature, meaning, and power of dreams among shamanic peoples, incorporating dreamwork practices from a range of cultures. Researched and developed by Michael Harner, subjects include shamanic dream theory, big dreams, dreams and the soul, spirits, shamanic journeys, the Dreamtime, and the vision quest.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN / COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

In this 2-day workshop, you will learn and practice:

Shamanic Dream Theory & Big Dreams

Explore the spiritual origins and distinct types of dreams across shamanic traditions, understanding how "big dreams" connect with Non-Ordinary Reality and soul guidance.

Dream Re-Entry & Shamanic Journeying

Learn how to safely re-enter dreams using shamanic drumming to interact with dream beings, power animals, and compassionate spirits to complete unfinished dream journeys.

Dreams, Soul, Spirits & Vision Quests

Discover the profound relationship between dreams, soul energy, spirit allies, and ancient vision quests, obtaining spiritual knowledge for personal power and clarity.

Applying Dream Knowledge to Contemporary Life

Learn practical methods to integrate dream wisdom into everyday life, utilizing dreamwork as an empowering resource for divination, problem-solving, health, and healing.

WHAT TO BRING / PREPARATION GUIDE

Please bring the following items to the workshop:

Rattle and/or Drum
A rattle and/or frame drum for journeying practice during the training.
Eye Covering
Blindfold, eye covering, bandana, or Mindfold® to block light and help you focus.
Notebook & Pen
Notebook and pen for note-taking and recording journey and dream details immediately.
Comfortable Clothing & Socks
Wear comfortable clothing suitable for lying down and warm socks for indoor practice.
Blanket & Cushion
Blanket and/or cushion (optional) for maximum comfort during lying-down floor journeys.
Packed Lunch
Packed lunch (optional) or visit nearby local dining during the 1.5-hour lunch break.
ACCREDITATION & POLICIES / IMPORTANT INFORMATION

CE Credits & Workshop Expectations

🎓 Accreditation & Requirements:
  • Prerequisite Options: Completion of The Way of the Shaman® Basic Workshop (In-Person) OR the three FSS online workshops (The Shamanic Journey™, Shamanic Divination in Practice™, and Shamanism, Spirits, and Healing™) is required before attending.
  • Full Attendance Required: You must complete all sessions of this 2-day workshop to receive the FSS Certificate of Completion and CE credits.
  • 13 FSS CE Credits: 13 Continuing Education Credits are awarded by the Foundation for Shamanic Studies upon full completion.
  • Experiential Format: All FSS trainings are experiential and interactive, featuring shamanic methodologies, journeywork, drumming, group sharing, and small group discussions.
  • Recording Policy: Electronic recording (audio, video, or photography) and the use of computers, tablets, or cellphones are strictly prohibited during sessions.
