A classic task of the shaman is to journey into nonordinary reality in order to obtain answers to questions, at the request of others and for oneself. In addition to journeying, workshop participants will explore several divinatory methods for gaining knowledge for themselves and others.

From ancient times, shamans have worked with the spirits of nature for healing, survival, and knowledge. In this unique experiential workshop you will have the opportunity to explore the nature, meaning, and use of dreams among shamanic peoples, with dreamwork practices from a range of cultures.

Using Cave and Cosmos as a reference and guide, we will learn from Michael Harner's masterwork. Deepen and expand your knowledge of shamanism through group discussion, journeying, and experiential exercises.
