What Do We Do in a Shamanic Journey Circle?
Our monthly journey circle is designed as a sacred, regular space to step out of chronological time, refresh your energy, and deepen your core shamanic practice alongside a dedicated community.
We gather to:
Connect with Compassionate Helping Spirits: Re-establish connection with your power animals and spiritual teachers in non-ordinary reality to receive direct personal guidance and wisdom.
Explore Topic-Based Journeys: Focus your shamanic journeys around specific monthly themes, seasonal transitions, or targeted intentions for daily life.
Practice Shamanic Divination & Healing: Apply foundational core shamanic methods—such as journeying for answers, diagnostic divination, or mutual spiritual support—within a grounded container.
Sing Your Soul Songs & Dance to Your Power Animal: Connect with the source of the power and embody it through singing and movements.

Prerequisites, Preparation & Integration Support
Prerequisites & Eligibility:
FSS Basic Training Required: Participants must have previously completed the FSS The Way of the Shaman® (In-person) or The Shamanic Journey (Online) training. This ensures everyone in the circle shares a grounded understanding of shamanic journeying, altered states, and ethical spirit work.
New to Shamanism?
If you are drawn to core shamanism but have not yet completed the basic workshop, please explore our upcoming FSS Basic Workshops to build your foundation before joining our monthly circles.
How to Prepare?
To ensure a comfortable, grounded, and sacred experience during our monthly practice, please prepare the following items:
Essential Items for All Participants (Online & In-Person):
Rattle: Used for spirit connection, calling in power, and energetic movement.
Eye Cover / Bandana : Helps block out ambient light to facilitate deep focus and inner visual journeying.
Journal & Pen: Essential for recording immediate insights, messages, and journey details after drumming completes.
Hand Drum ( Optional): Bring your shamanic drum if you have one (not required to participate).
Additional Recommendations for In-Person Studio Circles:
Comfortable Clothing & Warm Socks : Wear loose, relaxing layers to remain comfortable while sitting or lying on the floor. *
Yoga Mat & Small Pillow: Bring a mat and cushion for personal comfort during extended lying-down journeying sessions.
Post-Journey Integration & Support:
Shamanic journeys often continue to process within your dreams or daily awareness over the following days and weeks. If you need guidance integrating your journey after a circle, please feel free to reach out directly.
